The Evolutionary Blueprint
Our 2-million-year history as hunters.
Homo sapiens emerged roughly 200,000 years ago as apex predators. Our physiology was forged in the Pleistocene, an era dominated by large ruminant animals.
The Acidity Argument
The human stomach maintains a pH of approximately 1.5. This is significantly more acidic than herbivores and even most omnivores, a trait shared with scavengers and apex carnivores to neutralize pathogens in meat.
